- Shrine Soccer provides new t-shirts to our U6 teams every season. U6 players get to keep their t-shirts at the end of the season.
Equipment Information
The Groton Soccer Association invites area businesses to "sponsor" jerseys for our soccer players, enabling the players to receive the jerseys free of charge. However, a $20 deposit is required before a player receives their jersey (checks only). This deposit will be returned at the end of the season when the jersey is returned to the team mom - providing no damage has been done to the jersey. In the past jerseys have been cut off and damaged in other ways - this will not be tolerated as the Groton Soccer Association cannot afford to keep replacing the jerseys.
Players Provide the Following
- Shin guards
- Long socks which cover the shin guards
- water bottles (games and practices)
- Soccer balls (optional)
- Soccer shoes (optional) Players who choose to wear soccer shoes must have shoes designed for soccer - no pointed tip cleats or toe cleated shoes will be allowed.
